2013 NFC Wild Card: New Orleans Saints vs Philadelphia Eagles
NFL First Round Playoffs, second game and first NFC Wild Card game on Saturday, January 4, 2014 is New Orleans Saints vs Philadelphia Eagles at 8:10pm eastern time in Lincoln Financial Field at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is the first time these teams are meeting each other this season. Many people believe that the game should be played in New Orleans because the Saints have a better record than the Eagles. The reason they are playing in Philly is because the Philadelphia Eagles are the NFC East division leader.
NFL Team Stats, Key Players, & Injury Reports
New Orleans Saints (10-6), Philadelphia Eagles (11-5)
New Orleans Saints road record is 3-5, while the Philadelphia Eagles home record is 4-4. With this information so far I don’t see an edge for neither team. The Eagles are 4-1 in their last 5 games of the regular season and the Saints are 2-3 in their last 5 games. I would give the edge to the Eagles. Now since their in playing in Philadelphia, its going to be very cold and might even snow. The eagles players are use to this type of weather. Don’t get me wrong they will be feeling it but they won’t be as affect by the weather as the Saints players. New Orleans players are use to playing in a dome which gives them the perfect place to play every game at home. Their 8-0 home record proves that.

My prediction is this will be a close game until Nick Foles realize he lives in this type of cold weather he should be able to play in it. Then the Saints are done for, the Eagles will be moving onto the next round. So I am risking 1 unit on Philadelphia to cover the spread.
